Overnight Vanilla Oats

This is a simple and delicious breakfast that allows you to customise to your liking with whatever you have on hand. 2 minutes prep at night means instant healthy breakfast in the morning!  All you need is a small jar and some creativity.

• Raspberries, almonds and passionfruit

• Banana and cinnamon

• Apple and sultanas or dates

• Pumpkin seeds and blueberries

• Mango and shredded coconut

  • 1/2 c oats
  • • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (or rice malt)
  • • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • • full fat milk
  • • 2 tablespoons plain greek yoghurt (full fat)
  • • frozen and or fresh fruit fruit of your choice
  • • nuts, seeds etc of your choice


  1. Add oats, chia, nuts, etc to a 500ml jar.
  2. Top up with full fat milk to about 2 cm above the dry ingredients
  3. Add vanilla and syrup
  4. Stir to combine
  5. Add yoghurt
  6. Seal the jar and place in the fridge overnight
  7. In the morning, serve it up and top with your fruits
